Big Adventures supply the entertainment for the evening. We do not supply the venue or catering.

Prices vary depending on the size and nature of the event. Prices start at £550 and we offer excellent rates for new clients or multiple bookings.

With your help and our experience the evening will be well planned in advance. The company will arrive in plenty of time to set up and, where applicable, will liaise with catering/hotel staff throughout the evening to ensure the event runs smoothly for everyone.

Is it suitable entertainment FOR MY EVENT ?
Big Adventures Murder Mysteries are suitable for groups of 15-100 people and have been performed to audiences of ALL ages. The structure of the performance is flexible and we are used to working round buffets and sit-down meals.
Big Adventures Murder Mysteries can be performed in the evening or during the day.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

What will happen on the NIGHT?
With your help and our experience the evening will be well planned in advance. The company will arrive in plenty of time to set up and, where applicable, will liaise with catering/hotel staff throughout the evening to ensure the event runs smoothly for everyone.
So all you have to do is enjoy the evening! Here is the breakdown of a 'typical' murder mystery event:
The shows are made up of scenes (five in total), which are interspersed with the suspects circulating around the tables, answering questions and being grilled by your guests.
The first scene is a set up scene - approx. 10 mins long - The characters arrive, the scene is set and one of them dies. (There are 6 actors in total, one of whom dies in the first scene!)
We then circulate the tables, which, depending on numbers can take between 20 and 30 minutes. Actors are in character and answer whatever questions they are asked.
Second scene - more details are released in this scene and this is normally 2 or 3 of the suspects. 10 mins.
Next is what we call the 'puzzle solving' section. This can take the form of the guests cracking a code or similar. This is normally when a main course is served. This might be a full meal, or a buffet, or no food at all depending on what you think will work.
Third Scene - More details are revealed. 2 or 3 of the suspects. 10 mins.
More questions with the guests. 20-30 mins.
Fourth Scene - All the suspects in this scene. Another murder is committed, leaving only four suspects.
Accusation sheets are handed out, which your guests will fill in. They will answer the questions on the sheet with their solution of the crimes.
Final scene - The denouement, where everything is rounded up and the perpetrator/s is/are revealed! We will reward the winning team with a certificate of their brilliance. Venues sometimes provide a prize as well.
